Bolero Jumbo Amaryllis

Items from our perennial plants warehouse will ship around September 30 through October. Bulbs can be planted successfully up until your ground freezes.

Sunchokes and Amaryllis usually ship in late October and may be sent separately from the rest of your order.

Note to Alaska and far north customers: We cannot guarantee an early shipment, so please plan accordingly and order early.

Amaryllis

Originally from Central and South America and grows outdoors in Zones 9–10. We in frostier climes we plant these easy-to-grow hybrid marvels indoors and enjoy blooms during the winter.

Remove the pollen-bearing anthers for a longer bloom time and a neater tabletop. With simple care and proper soil nutrients, amaryllis can return year after year. Read more information about planting amaryllis. Planting and care instructions will also come with your order.

Our Amaryllis bulbs are of the largest size commercially available (36/38cm) and generally produce two or more flower stalks, each bearing 3–4 high-quality blooms.

This year all our Amaryllis bulbs are from Peru and will bloom up to two weeks earlier than bulbs from the northern hemisphere. This means you might get flowers by winter solstice if you pot them up in time.
