Group Order Information

Group ordering is only available to U.S. customers.

Instructions for Group Members

  1. Shop and build a cart for the items you'd like to order.
  2. At checkout, be sure to select "Ordering as part of a group" and enter your group code at that time. Alternatively, you can prefill this by visiting https://fedcoseeds.com/groups.
  3. If the code matches, you'll see a red banner at the top of the page that says "You are checking out as a group part" and the group discount will be applied to applicable orders. (If the banner doesn't appear, try re-entering your group code.)

Instructions for Group Coordinators

  1. Go to the group coordinator home page by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page (or to the right).
  2. Enter your email address then click the “Log In” button. We will use this address to send you confirmations of your members’ orders, and you will use it to log back in to monitor your group’s activity and to submit your group order.
  3. The first time you log in, you will be asked to enter your name, your group name, the ZIP Code to which orders would be shipped (even if you plan to pick up), the phone number where we can reach you, and a code for your group members to use when checking out. Then click on the “Validate Info & Create Account” button. Once you have logged in as a group coordinator, start your individual group by specifying the ordering deadline and providing your shipping address. Seeds, excluding farm seed, will ship to you; other items will ship directly to the group members.
  4. Tell your group members the group name and group code, as they will need that information to place their orders online. They should navigate to the group order login page to shop, and will need to enter the group code to add their order to your group order. They will get an email confirmation of their order and you will also get a notification email.
  5. Once you have created a group account, you can log in on the group coordinator home page to view the number of individuals participating in your group.
  6. Remember that to place your own order as part of the group, you need to follow the instructions for group members, and order exactly as any other group member would.
  7. Once your group deadline has passed, we will stop accepting orders for your group. You may start a new group order if members of your group still want to place orders with the group.
  8. Tax information: Your group order will be taxed according to the taxable status of the customer and the delivery address for the order (the coordinator's address for seeds; the customer's address for other items). Members of the group who do not qualify for tax exemptions are responsible for paying use tax on their purchases to the state (when filing their tax returns).
