Inoculate the roots of legumes to ensure the presence of nitrogen-fixing bacteria. Contains a variety of bacteria appropriate for a variety of common home-garden legumes.

Inoculates peas, sweet peas, cowpeas, dry beans, peanuts, lentils, limas, vetch, and Sunn Hemp.

Slurry mixing method (recommended): dampen seed with non-chlorinated water at a rate of 1 teaspoon of water per 1 lb of seed. Add 1.5 teaspoons inoculant per 1 lb seed, and mix until uniformly coated. Allow 1-3 minutes for mixture to dry and then plant ASAP.

Dry mixing method (less than optimal): mix dry seed with dry inoculant, same rate as above, until uniformly coated.

Store inoculant in a dry, dark place between 40 and 77 degrees F.
