This is the cranberry of holiday sauces, bread, juice and jelly. Adaptable to everything from bogs to dry rocky outcroppings. Self-pollinating. Native to northeastern U.S. and Canada. Dense low lustrous evergreen ground cover, reddish purple in fall and loaded with large red berries.
