Late season, red and yellow skin, yellow flesh. Don’t call Pinto a pony—this potato is a real workhorse. With striking bicolor skins, they practically sell themselves at market. High yields with up to 28 tubers per plant!

Buttery and decadent with a creamy texture. You’ll think an Easter Bunny left you a sweet pile of yellow-spotted pink eggs when you harvest!

In our trials Pinto shows resistance to blight, drought and scab; the leafhopper didn’t bother it a bit. Bred by the University of Maine.

We have no suitable substitutions for this unusual variety: even if you accept substitutions, you will receive a refund instead of potatoes if this variety is out of stock.

For orders placed by February 20, 2026, this item will ship on our regular shipping schedule, starting in late March with the warmest states and finishing by early May.
