71% field peas, 15% common oats and 14% hairy vetch. A superior soil-building cover crop seed mix. For springtime planting: allow for 60–90 days of growth. The oats come up first and are pulled down by the peas, which are eventually pulled down by the smothering vetch. Weeds don’t stand a chance in that jungle. 4" mat of vegetation should be disked or mowed and incorporated in autumn. Seed at 150–200#/acre, 5#/1000 sq ft. All three components are certified organic.
